Farm Credit Welcomes Lisa Smith to Harrisonburg Office

Farm Credit of the Virginias recently announced that Lisa Smith has joined the Harrisonburg branch office as a Customer Service Representative.  

Smith is a lifelong resident of Rockingham County, Virginia, and still resides there today. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Management from Old Dominion University.

Prior to joining Farm Credit, Smith served in the role of Customer Service manager with Sysco Virginia. She has also previously held several positions in marketing and warehousing. 

In regards to her new role, Smith says, “Farm Credit has made me feel like a valued employee since day one. I’m excited to join the team, and looking forward to learning more about finance and lending.”

Outside of the office, Smith enjoys attending her sons’ sporting events and spending time with their boxer, Izzy.

Jonathan Lindsay, Branch Operations Supervisor and Smith’s direct supervisor says, “We are thrilled to add Lisa to the team in Harrisonburg. I am excited about the positive impact she will have on FCV as see settles into her new role!  Her extensive background in customer service roles brings valued experience to the Branch Operation Team.”
