Butterworth Joins Farm Credit's Roanoke Branch

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently welcomed Karen Butterworth to the Roanoke, Virginia branch as a Loan Processor Trainee. Butterworth brings significant experience in banking. 

Butterworth is currently a resident of Roanoke, Virginia, although she is originally from Trinity, North Carolina, where she graduated from Trinity High School. She was previously employed with Bank of America for 16 years serving in various job functions, including Mortgage Processing and Assistant Branch Manager. Prior to accepting her role with Farm Credit, Butterworth served her family as a stay at home mother to raise her children. 

In regards to her position, Butterworth said, “As a new employee with Farm Credit I’m excited about incorporating new ideas to make our processing area run more efficiently. I’m also looking forward to learning more about the agriculture world as it pertains to lending.” 

In her spare time, Butterworth enjoys spending time fishing and kayaking with her family, as well as relaxing at the beach and contributing to the community. In fact, she has been a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for 10 years!
